Comments About This Candidate:

PERSONALITY CHARACTERISTICS
A would-be wolf trapped in lambs clothing
• Frustrated person regarding power, people and position.
• When it comes to power, he longs to express it but feels unable to make real contact with his basic energy.
• He may feel strong but his core is weak, and deep down inside he knows this but works hard to overcome this fact.
• His Southern charm and youthful good looks has always been a double-edged sword.
• He is a very trustworthy person as he understands the rules of the game and will follow a leader that he feels has the power to carry out that which he sees as appropriate but is unable to do himself.
• As a leader, his basic distrust of his own power makes him a reluctant leader who distrusts his ability to lead; this is an unconscious struggle.
• In a crisis, he is the person holding firmly to the position “yes-but, maybe, could be, if only you…”
• He is a kind of daydreamer with rather unpleasant dreams most of the time.
• When he does express his aggression, it will tend to be verbally cutting and express reluctantly in a passive way.
• In general, this person is trapped in his own quicksand and is reluctant to reach out for help as his experience has shown him that most people are uninterested or not there for him.
• He is much more than he seems and is having trouble letting the world know who he really is and what he really feels.
Dennis Kucinich

Comments About This Candidate
General impression: He presented self-doubt, which makes him seem less than trustworthy. This poor presentation of his power came across as self-doubt and even passive-aggressive. He had a poor "sense of direction" as well.
Symbolic Level:
SL-1 denial
SL-2 sadness
SL-3 distrust and cynicism
1) Trustworthy: yes
2) Reaction to pressure and stress: he was “interruptible”
3) Communication Style: he did not invite himself to the game
4) Competitive Style: denial of self and others
5) Leadership Style: poor sense of direction
6) “Response-ability”: retentive
PERSONALITY CHARACTERISTICS
A nice guy who needs a few weeks in “the gorilla cage” to define himself and find his power.
• Feeling of powerlessness, retracted with repressed anger capable of surfacing unexpectedly.
• Aggressive. This has the effect of causing others around him to feel insecure about confronting this person.
• He is present but in an insecure or tentative manner.
• He is seen as having potential power, which by definition, is unexpressed.
• It’s one foot on the brake and one on the accelerator.
• With regard to his leadership capacity, his skills are, of course, poorly developed; however, if developed he is unclear about the direction in which they should be expressed.
• He is a person who is present in actions and aware of his behavior.
• He gives the impression of a person who could do things successfully if only he would take action. This behavior can cause those around him to feel frustrated due to his inability to take action and live up to their perception of his capability.
• Presents the tone of potential power, causing those close to him frustration about his failure to act on his own capacities.
• Trustworthy but with a feeling of resentment toward those able to act on their potentials. He tends to be somewhat dependent on those seen as possessing the traits he lacks such as decisiveness and clarity. In that sense, he is somewhat dependent.
• He may be seen as a giver who does not trust the receivers of his gifts.
• Has identity problems but with more frustration as a result of his awareness.
• A very nice guy; perhaps that is weakness.
• A man with a message but with difficulty finding people to hear it.
Barack Obama

• Focused and determined
• Distrusting
• Relentless “terrier like” questioner
• Power to influence
• Persuasive
• Attracted to power
• Comfortable in leadership positions
• Trustworthy
• Self-assured
• Calm in crises

Bill Richardson
General impression: He is a very trustworthy, people-oriented individual who basically 'lives his values.' He is easily perceived as both powerful and caring as well as effective and efficient, which are strong combinations. Regarding Richardson's individual leadership style, he presents himself as a trustworthy team player and co-worker as well as delegator. In fact, Richardson might be a man far too gentle to walk amongst the wolves of presidential politics and international relations.
• When he feels anger, he is reluctant to show it.
• He is unclear about the origin of his anger and is therefore reluctant to express it toward others.
• His general tendency is to give “yes, but…” messages.
• He is a person with power but he is reluctant to show it to others. He makes a presentation of tentativeness and has poor posture as a result of the ambivalence he has toward his feelings about the world in which he lives.
• This person, when in a leadership position, has power but is blocked in giving it full expression.
• He is trustworthy, but at the same time, he does not trust his capacity to always deliver on the expectations placed upon him.
• He is distrusting of the use of power by others. In a relationship, he is a giver who is always looking for reassurance.
• He regularly proves to be better than he thinks he is.
• He may experience headaches as a result of the tension he experiences about his general inability to make decisions.
• He can be present when he sees it as necessary; however, he is often in a trance, reflecting on what he sees as the “big picture”.
• He presents a strong but undeveloped physical image and is basically “OK” with this.
• He approaches the world with a “definite maybe” and suffers all the problems that go with this lifestyle.
• He is a natural negotiator.
• He thinks of alternatives, feels compassion and provides creative solutions in crisis.
• In some ways, he is a man too gentle to work among “wolf like” politicians.
